A hardy looking, dark and veiny wrapper with a crisp, sweet pre-light smell. The cigar was solid to the touch and had a very smooth draw. It had a peppery spice in the aroma, which lingered in the nose when retro-haling the smoke. Cocoa and more cinnamon-like spices developed. The cigar had a sweet taste and clean medium bodied finish.
