Powstanie San Andrés Toro

A dark, toothy and slightly oily wrapper covered this cigar.  The pre-light nose had a slightly sweet tone with notes of cocoa and mild citrus, while the cold-draw flavor had earthy-hay and wood in addition to the cocoa.

It had some resistance to the draw, which was smooth and effortlessly provided dense, creamy, full bodied smoke to the palate with ease.  There was black and red peppery spices in the nose when retro haling the smoke, as well as in the aroma, which was rich with cocoa and wood tones.

Medium strength for the first half, slowly developing to full while maintaining a full body and big aroma.  The smoke was incredibly balanced on the palate and was persistent in delivering full flavor, a dense and creamy full body while maintaining medium strength.

Outstanding construction overall with a slow and even burn that hung on to a long, nearly white ash.  A great choice to sit back with and enjoy everything it has to offer.
