Quesada Cigars Manuel Quesada 70th
A deep brown, oily, seamless wrapper with rich, sweet graham cracker and cocoa-like notes on the pre-light smell. The cigar was solid to the touch and had a very slight resistance to the draw, which helped to make this a very smooth and effortless experience. Once lit, the cigar boasted a bold sweet and spicy aroma. It had a mouthwatering texture with more lingering sweet flavors through the finish. There was a mild spiciness in the nose, with more black pepper notes that developed as the cigar burned down. An interesting smoky trait developed in the taste and worked well with the spices and sweetness of the cigar. It had a juicy quality to the smoke with a full aroma, flavors and a full body that slowly developed as the cigar was smoked. This would be a great candidate to age in order to see how all of the flavors and textures develop over time. Outstanding construction with a slow and even burn. This was a complex cigar with a lot of unique character.
