Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua Toro

This toro shaped cigar had a tangy-sweet pre-light nose mildly sweet tobacco and floral notes on the dry-draw taste.  Once lit the cigar provided creamy textured smoke with noticeable red and white pepper notes in the nose that also lingered in the back end of each puff.  The aroma was similar to the pre-light notes, with a sweeter characteristic coupled with floral tones, citrus and woods.

There was some resistance to the draw but it was effortless to enjoy as it still provided large volumes of smoke to the palate with ease.  The smoke was well balanced in the taste and it had a clean finish.  The smoke was full bodied with medium flavors and a medium strength through the first half, with the strength gradually building to full.

The flavor profile did develop into a hardier, more robust smoky, earthy taste.  Spices intensified as well but never overwhelmed the palate.  Great construction overall with a slow, even burn that produced a long gray ash.  A rather easy going fuller cigar that won’t knock you down while still delivering a big flavor experience.
