This cigar had a smooth and rich looking, deep brown colored oily wrapper. The pre-light smell was rich with a lot of sweet and earthy, fermented tobacco characteristics. The draw had a slight resistance yet was an effortless cigar to enjoy. The pre-light taste was like well fermented tobacco, rich, dense, sweet and earthy. It had an initial spicy kick at the beginning of the cigar that lingered in the nose. About an inch in, the spice settled down allowing a more creamy texture to be revealed. The spice was consistently present with a touch of sweetness. Graham cracker and cedar notes were noticed with an earthiness that developed the more the cigar was smoked. Outstanding burn that hung on to a long, medium gray ash. Complex and very enjoyable. The body never overwhelmed the evolving flavors. This was a nice blend and it had a unique personality.

Beautiful wrapper. Complex flavors which reveal themselves very gradually throughout the smoking experience, overall a very impressive cigar

I really enjoyed this cigar as soon as I tried it. The pre-light smell was sweet and rich. The cigar felt solid in the fingers and had an effortless draw. It offered a lot of intriguing flavors and complexity. A spiciness dominated the mouth feel, which became creamier as the cigar was enjoyed. It went from a dominating spicy earthiness and revealed more sweet, nutty, cracker like notes as the cigar burned down. The body was present and well balanced with the flavor profile of the cigar. Medium-full overall with a lot of personality.
