There was a slightly rough looking hearty brown wrapper with a shaggy foot. The cigar had a very sweet and earthy pre-light smell. There was just a slight resistance on the draw, allowing plenty of smoke to hit the palate. Excellent construction overall with a remarkably even burn that held on to a salt and pepper colored flaky ash. Consistent character with some development in spices. Very hearty, earthy tobacco notes with a consistently sweet undertone. A medium bodied cigar with pipe tobacco qualities.
