Drew Estate Cigar Co. Nica Rustica

    USER AVERAGE (17): 91
    COMPANY: Drew Estate Cigar Co.
    BRAND: Nica Rustica
    SIZE: Short Robusto, 4.5 x 50
    ORIGIN: Nicaragua
    WRAPPER: Connecticut Broadleaf
    MSRP: $5 - $8.99

This attractive cigar had an oily, dark colored wrapper and an earthy, grassy pre-light nose which carried over into the flavor of the pre-light draw. After an easy torching, the cigar produced a dense smoke with flavors of wood, grains, toasted bread and deep, rich flavors that hit the taste buds on each draw. Relatively quick burning with only a single retouch with a lighter, it burned for just over an hour. Full in strength, this was a very heavy cigar that would be an ideal nightcap.

A bargain at a little over $5 a stick. Not pretty to look at but a ton, and I mean a TON, of smoke, plenty of flavor and full bodied. And did I mention for a little over $5. :-) One of best deals around.

This cigar is hands down, best bang for your buck. It\'s like the mega smoke producing demon love child of the Liga 9 and the Undercrown for around $5 a stick!

I bought the Drew Estate Nica Rustica on impulse during one of my latest cigar shopping trips. I was drawn to the rough cut and rustic nature of this cigar. This is one of those cigars that\'s perfect to wrap up a long day in the office. This rustic flavored, full bodied smoke reminds the smoker that he\'s smoking a real cigar. There are not subtleties in this cigar, its full flavor and thick smoke. You will taste this stick on the back of your throat and smell the full smoky flavor on your fingers for hours. This is an impressive smoke for those times that when you need to pull out the big guns.

Are you on a diet & you want a BBQ? Well here it is with no calories to boot. The Nica in this size is a great quick smoke. The smell is like brisket smoking for dinner. It\'s yummy. It\'s a mouth full of smokey wood & earthy notes with the dark oily wrapper that is just beautiful. I love this stick for a ride in the car when I am in thought.
