Fogo Cigar Company Fogo Gold

This cigar had a hearty, leathery looking deep reddish brown wrapper with subtle smells of earth and cocoa on the pre-light. Very solid to the touch and heavy in the hand. There almost no resistance on the draw which effortlessly provided thick white clouds of smoke. There was an intense upfront spiciness in the aroma as well as on the palate, which eventually settled down revealing a creamy texture and a big, earthy profile. There was a consistent spice and a full, rich smelling aroma. Excellent overall construction with a great draw and a burn that only needed minor touch ups.
