PDR Cigars Flores y Rodriguez 10th Anniversary
This cigar was covered with an evenly colored, brown and oily wrapper. It had a bright pre-light nose with a lot of cedar notes that carried over to the taste along with a spicy floral note. Once lit a sweet note hit the tip of the tongue immediately and carried through to the finish of each puff. The draw was effortless and provided thick clouds of creamy textured, dense smoke. A full body made a presence right off the bat with a shot to the back of the palate, and then settled down as fast as it hit allowing the nuances of the flavor to be appreciated. The body slowly gained strength as the cigar was smoked, balancing out with the full flavors and aromas of this cigar becoming medium-full overall with a fuller finish. The aroma was sweet, filled the room and had a luring quality to it; very pleasant. There was some definite red and black pepper notes when retro-haling the smoke. Eventually the spices lingered through the finish on the palate, but the smoke had a predominately creamy texture throughout. The cigar was complex with development throughout the duration of the experience. A great cigar overall.
