Tatuaje Cigars Inc./Havana Cellars El Triunfador
This was a great looking box pressed cigar that was incredibly solid to the touch. The wrapper had a silky feel, minimal veins and an overall great appearance. The pre-light smell was rich with chocolate covered raisin-like notes that had a tangy sweetness to it. Once lit the cigar delivered generous amounts of dense and creamy smoke to the palate with ease. The cigar had a slow and incredibly even burn. Big nutty flavors and aromas were noticed with cocoa powder and subtle black pepper spices, which were more noticeable in the nose when retro-haling the smoke. It had a creamy texture and mouth feel. The flavor profile built in strength along with the body as the cigar was enjoyed. It was full in flavor with a big luring aroma and a medium body that finished more towards the full end of the spectrum near the end. The cigar had refinement and balance with an overall elegant feel to the smoking experience. Outstanding construction and just a fantastic cigar overall.
