This cigar was covered with a dark and oily, toothy wrapper.  The pre-light nose was light with slightly sweet earthy tones that were also noticed on the dry-draw flavor.  Once lit the cigar immediately had a full flavor and aroma profile with deep earthy tones, spice and sweet notes that lingered in the taste and nose for the duration of the experience.

The draw was smooth, effortless and provided a lot of smoke with ease.  It had a very even burn that hung on to a long salt and pepper colored ash.  A smoky flavor developed while maintaining an intense spice, especially when retro haling the smoke through the nose.  Full flavored, medium-full body with strength that slowly built to full.

This cigar had a big character with a long finish yet never overwhelmed the palate.  An excellent choice for anyone who appreciates full flavored, spicy cigars that won’t knock you on your butt.
