Southern Draw Cigars Jacobs Ladder

Southern Draw Cigars Jacobs Ladder

An extremely dark wrapper covered this cigar. It had a thick texture and smooth feel between the fingers. The cigar was light in the hand and solid to the touch. It had an effortless draw along with a slow, even burn that made this effortless to enjoy overall. It had bitter chocolate with sweet, smoky cedar notes on the pre-light taste. The pre-light nose was mild and clean. Once lit it offered a full chocolaty aroma that filled the room with a rich, warming quality. The cigar intensified as it was smoked. There was a creaminess in the aroma of the smoke as well as in the texture on the palate. It was very rich in flavor with a body that was present but never overwhelming. It developed, as the cigar was smoked, full with a long, full flavored finish that left a lasting impression. The smoke was dense, with an almost chewy texture that was loaded with full flavors and subtle black peppery spices that lingered throughout the experience. A great cigar to sit back with and enjoy.
