Deadwood Tobacco Co. Sweet Jane Dominicana Toro

A golden brown wrapper leaf covered this cigar.  There were mild floral and sweet notes on the pre-light nose that carried over the dry draw taste, with a lingering sweet taste from the sweetened tip.  Once lit, the cigar offered wood and nut flavors and aromas.  It had a mild black pepper spice when retro-haling the smoke through the nose.  The draw was incredibly smooth with just a slight bit of resistance.

The burn was slow and even, producing a l0ng, light gray ash.  The smoke was dense with a medium body and mild strength throughout the duration of the cigar. The sweet taste was a dominate trait of the cigar and never diminished from beginning to end.  Outstanding construction through and through.  A very consistent cigar from first light to last puff.

This would be an excellent choice for beginners or anyone who enjoys lighter strength, sweet cigars.  It was unique in that it maintained it’s dominating sweet taste the entire time as a lot of sweet tipped cigars lose that quality not long after lighting.  Effortless to enjoy.
