Tatuaje Cigars 7th Tuxla

This cigar was covered with a dark, oily and slightly toothy wrapper with an overall hardy appearance. The pre-light nose had a tangy sweet smell with an earthy, sweet taste on the dry draw. Once lit the initial flavor was similar to that of the dry draw with white peppery notes that lingered in the nose. The aroma was full from the first puff to the last with a luring sweet and earthy, rich quality.
There was some resistance to the draw but was effortless in delivering large volumes of smoke to the palate. It was full bodied with a dense texture and medium strength throughout. The flavor was full, complimenting the rich aroma. There was an even burn that produced a long grey ash. The cigar wasn’t overly complex but was very well balanced. It delivered great full flavors and an aroma that took center stage of the experience, not letting up until the last puff.
This cigar is very approachable to most levels of experience with its medium body, smooth and balanced flavor profile, intriguing aroma and clean finish. The only disappointment was when there was no more of it to enjoy. Just an outstanding cigar especially when considering it’s $9.50 price tag.
