Tatuaje Cigars Inc./Havana Cellars Havana VI
This cigar had a great classic shape and eye appeal. It had a silky looking, oily wrapper with a clean, well-fermented tobacco and hay-like note on the pre-light smell. Solid to the touch with an effortless draw. There was a lot of earthiness in the flavor and aroma with a very mild sweet note and a spicy edge, especially when retro-haling the smoke through the nose. The burn was slow and produced a long, tight gray ash. The cigar had a medium body that slowly developed and built to full with a long, full flavored finish. The spiciness intensified with more black pepper notes developing later on in the cigar. There were a lot of hardy, earthy flavors and a body that accentuated, never dominating the experience. The aroma stood out and was a great trait of this cigar with a luring, very pleasant smell that never lets up throughout the entire duration of this experience. This cigar delivers a rich, full flavored, medium bodied experience time and time again without fail. A work horse of a cigar packed with flavor.
