Tatuaje T110 Corojo

This short robusto shaped cigar had a deep reddish brown, hardy looking wrapper with noticeable tooth and veins.  The pre-light nose was inviting with full, tangy sweet earthy notes and similar flavors on the dry draw with the addition of fermented tobacco and hay.  Once lit, the smoke had a creamy texture on the palate with white pepper notes in the nose.

The smoke was balanced on the palate and had a clean finish after each puff.   A mostly even burn produced a long gray ash that had to be pulled from the cigar.  When retro-haling the smoke there was a big black pepper note that came through in the first half, smoothing out in the second.  The aroma was full, luring, rich, yet subtle with earthy spice, hay and fermented tobacco.

A well rounded cigar with a full aroma, balanced flavor, full body and medium strength.  Entertained the senses from first sight to last puff.  A great cigar that won’t overwhelm the palate while still delivering a satisfying experience.
