Tradecraft Gladius Toro

A hardy looking cigar with a dark brown, rugged, oily wrapper. It had a mild pre-light nose with cedar and floral notes on the cold-draw flavor. Once lit, the cigar provided subtle initial flavors of more floral and cedar-like notes with a good amount of spicy peppery notes that lingered in the taste and nose. That initial peppery bite did settle down a bit but remained a pleasant background note that accentuated the other flavors and textures.
The aroma was full, with a sweeter tone that had more wood, some citrus qualities and an underlying earthy tone. It had a full body from the start with a dense texture. While the flavor profile was subtle, it was still full, rich and worked well with the texture and body of the smoke.
It had a consistent medium strength and was very well-balanced with the other characteristics of the cigar. A very smooth smoking, flavorful, rich cigar that is easy to enjoy. Excellent construction and burn the whole way through.
