Veritas Cigars Torch Habano

Veritas Cigars Torch Habano

There was an attractive, oily wrapper on this cigar that was smooth to the touch. It had a long and coiled pigtail cap that covered the head of the cigar.  After twisting off the pigtail, a mild cocoa note was noticed on the pre-light nose and taste with clean hay-like notes and a sweet overall tone.  The cigar was firm to the touch and had an effortless draw after we clipped off a little more of the cap with a cutter. Once lit, a lot of the initial smoke had a lot of spices in the nose that also lingered in the taste through the finish of each puff. There was a sweetness in the aroma that was also noticeable on the taste.  Mild body to start that quickly built to medium. The spices in the cigar were consistent and never overwhelming. The aroma continued to develop as the cigar was enjoyed with a rich, luring tone. Outstanding construction overall, this cigar was effortless to enjoy and had a lot of nice, rich flavors. It’s a versatile cigar in that it could easily be enjoyed at any time of the day.
