Villiger Cigars Villiger Colorado
This cigar had a silky smooth, milk-chocolate colored wrapper. The pre-light nose was clean and faint with mild earthy notes. Once lit a smooth draw provided generous amounts of creamy smoke to the palate. There was a white peppery note when retro-haled through the nose that also developed in the aroma. The smoke was dense and smooth with a clean tasting finish that was light on the palate. The burn was slow and extremely even. It hung on to a long gray ash that had to be pulled off of the cigar. Nuts, cocoa-powder and honey-like notes were noticed in the taste. The aroma was bright, spicy and developed more cocoa-like notes as it was smoked. The cigar was solid to the touch the whole way through. The construction was outstanding and the cigar practically smoked itself. The cigar offered enough flavor and complexity without being overbearing that a novice and seasoned pro could both appreciate it.
