The pre-light nose and taste had earthy coffee notes with a subtly sweet raisin-like note. The hearty appearance of this cigar did translate to the character of the smoke, which was full bodied and dense from the first puff. The cigar had an outstanding slow and even burn that clung on to a dense, evenly colored dark gray ash. The flavors developed with earthy, woody, nutty, spice notes and big coffee-like notes. Medium-full body overall that left a lasting impression.
