Davidoff Zino Honduras Toro

A slightly reddish brown wrapper covered this cigar. The pre-light nose and cold draw flavor were similar with tangy notes of hay and cedar. Once lit, the cigar provided dense, medium-full body with flavor and aroma similar to the pre-light notes.
It didn’t take long for peppery spices to develop and linger in the taste with a big red pepper characteristic in the nose on the retro hale. The aroma continued to develop and revealed more notes of wood, nuts and a slight floral tone while maintaining a spicy edge with an underlying sweetness.
There was a slight resistance on the draw and was effortless to enjoy overall. It had a mostly even burn that held on to a long darker gray ash. An excellent choice for anyone who enjoys a spicy, balanced cigar that won’t overwhelm the palate or knock you back in your seat.
