Zino Nicaragua Robusto

A golden brown wrapper covered this larger ring gauge, robusto sized cigar. The pre-light nose was faint with mild hay-like notes on the dry draw taste. The cigar was heavy in the hand, well packed with tobacco yet had a slight resistance on an effortless draw.
After lighting there was a white peppery spice that lingered in the nose that became fairly intense when retro haling the smoke through the nose. There were mild flavors with nuts, slight peppery spices and woody tones. Medium bodied and mild in the strength in the first half. The strength picked up a little bit rounding out and a mild-medium.
A floral note developed further into the cigar as did the spices intensity, but overall it was fairly consistent in character throughout. The burn was slow and incredibly even, producing a long and nearly white ash. Mild enough in strength for a beginner yet it had the spice with enough delicate aromas and flavors to keep someone with more experience entertained.
